This article suggests simulation and design of a Smart Trashcan using Arduino Uno, ultrasonic sensors, servo motor, LCD display, and LED indicators in Tinker cad. The system maintains hygiene and automation through dual ultrasonic sensors, a user proximity sensor for touchless opening and trash fill level sensor. Overfilling is prevented through an automatic lid lock at 94% capacity. Code optimization and sensor calibration ensure precise detection, stable servo control, and reliable real-time feedback through the LCD and LEDs. Simulation results confirm smooth, safe, and efficient operation. The article demonstrates how low-cost microcontrollers and simulation tools enable scalable, hygienic, and sustainable smart waste management solutions
